![]() ![]() ![]() Hop right into the Enhanced Version and enjoy yourself good sir. Yeah you won't be missing anything by not playing the Classic version so no worries. It's a bit rough around the edges but considering it's from 1994, it's mind blowing how ahead of its time it was. You're very welcome! I hope you enjoy the game. Thanks for the info! I just wasnt sure if there were any naritive diferences between the two. But definitely play the Enhanced Edition. The classic version is a nice added bonus if you want to compare it. ![]() The game's original controls are ridiculously obtuse. More importantly it has actual mouse look and WASD controls that make way more sense than the crazy original controls. As others stated it runs well, natively in windows and looks as good as the original graphics are ever going to get. Night Dive has done impressive work to make this game playable on modern. They're just recreating the rooms close to 1:1 with just more modern assets (with a lacking art style imo), which completely defeats the point of a remake imo. I feel this remake is steering way too much towards the "What's the point?" category instead of "How is this System Shock any more?", which is very bad. So, everyone probably knows System Shock is my all time favourite game. ![]()
